Last day of class!!! YAY!!! Anyway, I hope everybody's narrative is coming along well. I just wanted to comment about dialogue really quickly... I happen to like it!! I feel that by adding dialogue to my paper, it's giving it character. Like my audience will be able to really see what I saw. I mean, while I can describe what is being said, it doesn't come accross the same way. Not to mention that it's a good contrast for all the descriptive language used. Dialogue is just great insight within a narrative, and although I was kind of iffy about it at first, I'm really starting to like it, get the hang of it, and have some fun with it.
I completely forgot it was our last day until I walked out of there! I was excited no less! I feel the same way, but I am not comfortable using it in my paper yet. I think dialogue is a great way to relate someone else's experience to you own life and even to some of your own experiences. It's a great way for you as a writer to show your readers who you really are and what your personality is like.

But I have actually been having some trouble with my dialogue in my paper and I am planning on not having very much in it because it has been giving me some problems. I am do however, believe that it does help in telling a story and giving insight to something that happened in someone's life.
